He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanford Hampson and Jean Hampson (Hunt); and his siblings, Jean Belville, William "Jack" Hampson and George "Kenny" Hampson.

He is survived by: his wife Helen Hampson (Estock); and his daughters, Mary Lee Supernovich Alger (Ray) of Dunedin, FL, Debra Van Ronzelen (William) of Union, MO, Susan Wagner (Scott) of Pleasant Hills and Nancy Hawkins Armstrong of Elizabeth. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; also, nieces and nephews.
