He is survived by: his children, Tabatha "Boo" Hoak (Jeff), Bobbi Jo "Kizzy" Lawson (late John Benedek), Jeffrey Hoak, Jr. (Alysa), Randy Hoak, Eric Lawson, Jr., Courtney Lawson and Jace Benedek; his great grandchild Emma "Bubbles"; his siblings, Earl Maksin (Sandra), Janet Campbell (Carson), David Maksin (Debra), Joseph Maksin (Jayne), Kevin Maksin, Carla Matyasovsky (Bob), Dean Maksin (Tammy), MariAnne Maksin, Dennis Maksin and Penny Loera; and his close friend Roger Monaco. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
