He was predeceased by: his parents, Rancel Maraffi and Alice Maraffi (Smith); his wife Georgienne M. Maraffi (Matola); his son Richard L. Maraffi, Jr.; and his sisters, Vikki Ankney and Darla Obal.
He is survived by: his sons, Ramon of Slippery Rock and Ronald Maraffi (Wendy) of Slippery Rock; his grandsons, Ryan (Allie) and Kyle Maraffi (Carlee); and his great grandchild Carter Maraffi. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
