He was predeceased by: his parents, Regis F. Griffin and Bernice Griffin; and his brother Regis F. Griffin, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Griffin (Sacunas); his daughters, Michelle DeLuca (Joe) of Unity Twp, Heather Sargent (Dave) of Penn Twp and Gretchen Krick (Darren) of Penn Twp; his grandchildren, Laura, Alex DeLuca, Griffin Krick and Brooke Sargent; his sister Rosemary Goggans (Dwight) of Roswell, GA; and his nephew Mike Quinn (Tina) of Sutersville.
