He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Lubich and Eva Lubich; and his siblings, Dan, Stella, Violet and Mary.

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Lubich; and his sons, Nicholas Lubich and Samuel Lubich. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
