He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Fera and Mary Lou Kaufman O'Connell; his stepparents, Laura Fera and Bob O'Connell; his parents-in-law, Jean and Bill Swanson; and his siblings-in-law, Valerie Pedersen, Greg Pedersen and Matt Piccolo.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Swanson Fera; his sons, Mark Fera (Mallorie), Joe Fera and Anthony Fera (Meagan Struchen); his sisters, Linda Donofrio (Gary), Geri Heale (John) and Tammy Piccolo; his sister-in-law Jean Wadding (Dave); his brother Carl Fera; his brothers-in-law, Carl and Len Swanson; and his grandchildren, Ashton, Mason and Rylee.
