He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Maksin and Dorothy "June" Maksin (Beeler); and his siblings, James, Dennis, Robert Maksin, Penny Loera, Cheryl Jenkins and Janet M. Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Ann Maksin (O'Donnell); his son Joseph Maksin, III (Jamie) of Elizabeth Twp; his grandsons, Joseph, Lucas and Noah; and his siblings, Earl Maksin (Sandy), David Maksin (Debbie) of Clairton, Kevin Maksin of Jefferson Hills, Dean Maksin (Tammy) of Clairton, Carla Matyasovsky (Bob) of Jefferson Hills and Mari Anne Maksin of Clairton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
