He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. and Margaret Mooney (Edwards). He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Mooney (Behun); his daughters, Shannon Mooney and Kellie Mooney; his pet Pete; and his siblings, Janet Monaco (Jerry), Karen Valentich (Robert) and Kevin Mooney (Lisa). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
