She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alvin Brooks and Caroline May Brooks (Paquet); and her son-in-law Dr. Raymond "Barry" Bridges. She is survived by: her children, Darla Bridges of Knoxville, TN, Dana Herold (JP) of Liberty Boro, Del Grimes (Helen) of Elizabeth Township and David Grimes of Elizabeth Township; her grandchildren, Alexis, Caroline, John Jr., Joshua, Jenna, Jordan and Patience; her great grandchildren, Kaelynn and Charlotte; and her siblings, Richard Brooks of Avalon and Elizabeth "Dib" Williams of Clovis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial contributions be made to the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, 341 N. Chestnut Street, Punxsutawney, PA 15767.
