He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn H. Schumann and June Schumann (Davies); his stepmother Ruth Schumann; and his siblings, Deborah DePollo and Leslie H. Schumann.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine U. Schumann (Ford); his children, Rodney Schumann of Elizabeth, Curt Schumann (Gretchen) of Elizabeth Twp, Bryan "Jake" Schumann (Shuxia) of Qingdao, China, Cynthia Schmaltz (Dale) of Franklin, IN and Connie Gallagher (Stephen) of Pittsburgh; his brother Tim Schumann of Clairton; his sister-in-law Ren Schumann of Pittsburgh; his stepsiblings, Loretta James and Mark DePollo; and his brother-in-law Mike DePollo. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; step grandchildren.
