It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gertrude Jane Cochenour of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 8, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward K. Spear and Leanora Spear (Andrews); her husband John F. Cochenour; her daughter Margaret Moeller; and her siblings, Ruth, Betty, Leah, Edward and Richard.
She is survived by: her children, Carl of Elizabeth Township, Cynthia Mockel (Wayne) of Daphne, Ward (Theresa) of Elizabeth Township, Laurie of Pittsburgh and Troy (Denise) of Elizabeth Township; her grandchildren, Kristoffer Moeller, Julianne Slogick, Lauren Bosselait, Lindsey Mockel, Derek Mockel, John Cochenour, Paige Houser, Bryer Cochenour and Jordan Cochenour; and her sister Joan Miley of Lititz, PA. She is also survived by spouses; ten great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to Mt. Vernon Community Presbyterian Church.
