We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2023, at the age of 84, Geraldine Nelson of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Papp and Margaret Emma Papp (Toth); and her husband Wayne Henry Nelson. She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Sowerby of Suffolk, VA; her granddaughter Amanda Sowerby; her great grandchildren, Eric and Zachary; and her brother Leslie Papp (Patricia). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to First Evangelical Free Church at 4001 University Dr, McKeesport, PA 15132.
