He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Heather Corey; his children, Danielle Sheaffer (Samuel), Ashley Urlakis (Brock), Joshua Corey (Madison Kapisak), Bryan Olenik (Tracey) and Sherie Gill (Andrew); his grandchildren, Georgia, Huck, Eloise and Camilla; and his siblings, John Corey (Nancy), Connie Czachowski (Chet), Dan Corey (Cindy) and Sheila Markel (William).
Whether it was taking pictures on the beat for a local newspaper, catching shoplifters as an undercover security officer, or testing the air quality in hospital rooms during the Covid pandemic.
