He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred J. Caster and Lillian Caster (Collins); his wife Ellen Ufko Caster; and his siblings, Howard, William, Frank, Harry Caster, Dorothy Paquet and Dolores Spinneweber.
He is survived by: his children, Fred J. Caster III (Jennifer) of Forward Township, Chris A. Pierce of Fayette City and Cindy Strotman (Craig) of Akiak, AK; his grandchildren, Tyler Peroney (Brandi), Ashleigh Peroney, Jacob Strotman, Isaac Strotman (Alyx), Anthony Sayles and Cole Pierce (Lindsey Manko); his great grandchild Archer Peroney; and his sisters, Janet Ufko of Punta Gorda, FL and Florence Shoemaker of Huntingdon, PA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
