He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Goettel and Bertha Goettel (Achtzehn); his wife Katherine "Betty" Goettel (Gee); and his siblings, Charlotta Cain, Iva Metz, Emma Joll, Yvonne "Bonnie" Garvin, Brinton, Emmett "Bill" and Edmund Goettel.
He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Pipak (Frank) of O'Hara Twp; and his sister Alma Jarvis of Monessen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
