It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma M. Swonger of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 12, 2025, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Emma's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Emma has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Ulbrich and Margaret Ulbrich (Fasekas); her husband William Swonger; and her brother John Ulbrich. She is survived by: her children, Jean Gardner of Buena Vista and Timothy Swonger (Gerrolyn) of Elizabeth Tonwship; her grandchildren, Donna Piper (Eric) of Elizabeth Township and Billy Gardner of McKeesport; her great grandchildren, Allanah, Braden Finnegan and Caleb Piper; and her brother Donald Ulbrich. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
