He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Smith and Virginia Smith (Derr); and his brother H. Wayne Smith. He is survived by: his wife Laraine Marie Smith (Ercole); his children, Timothy L. Smith (Darlene) of White Oak and Sharon S. Johnson (Mark) of Upper St; his brother Marshall "Marty" L. Smith (Lois) of McKeesport; his grandchildren, Kayla M. Smith of Pittsburgh, Jordan L. Yuhas of Elizabeth, Isaac C. Smith of Pleasant Hills, Meghan L. Johnson of Oakland and Hannah J. Smith of White Oak; and his sister-in-law Mary Smith of Steubenville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
