He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Hays and Sara Hays (Nicholson); his wife Betty J. Hays (Billick); his son-in-law Frank Dzvonick; and his stepsister Donna Palmer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Beverly Dzvonick of Apollo Beach, FL, Shirl Latkovic (Don) of Wesley Chapel, FL and Karen Crotty (Bill) of Parrish, FL; his grandchildren, Tara (Anthony Mougianis) of Wintersville, OH, Dana Ighnat (Chris) of Columbus, OH, Lisa LaPresti (Mark) and T. J. Latkovic (Michelle) of Tampa, FL; and his stepsister Sara Hanford. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
