He was predeceased by: his parent Stewart Joseph; his son James Stewart Owens; and his siblings, Edna Long, Betty Lou Martin and Stewart E. Owens.
He is survived by: his parent Olive Owens (Cummins); his wife Arlene Owens (Vallance); his children, Denise Ann Owens of Liberty Borough and Daniel Blaine Owens (Jean) of Woolwich Township, NJ; his grandchildren, Brooke and Gavin Owens; and his sister Sheila Mendel (Stephen) of South Park. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Presbyterian Church, 900 Elizabeth Street, McKeesport, PA 15133.
