She was predeceased by: her parents, Finley Gillingham and Thelma Gillingham (McIntosh); her husband James Thompson; her son James B. Thompson; and her siblings, Colleen Ruffing and George Gillingham.
She is survived by: her son Dr. Jeffrey R. Thompson (Brenda) of Kemah, TX; her grandchildren, Jil Tauch (Michael) of Upper St, Nathan Thompson (Angela) of Peters Twp, Lauren of Kemah, TX and Connor Thompson of Kemah, TX; her great grandchildren, Gavin, Grahm, Bennett, Eve Tauch, Jacob and Cooper Thompson; and her daughter-in-law Marion Thompson of Peters Twp. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
