He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Leo and Germaine Agatha Gidel (Meister); his wife Carol Mae (Charok); and his siblings, Richard "Dick" Gidel (late Carolyn) and Barbara Bartek.
He is survived by: his children, Bethany Neal (Bob) and Ryan Gidel (Jonita) of Elizabeth Township; his grandchildren, Evan, Justin Neal, Sophia and Phineas Gidel; his brother John Charles Gidel (Helen); and his brother-in-law Bob Bartek. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
