It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Sturni of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 11, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Herbert Kees Howell; and her husband Wade Rader Sturni. She is survived by: her mother Dorothy Howell (Carpenter) of Elizabeth Township; her son Donald C. McGowan, Jr. (Sharon); her grandchildren, Serena, Olivia and Bodi McGowan of Fredericksburg, VA; and her sisters, Diane Lynn McCarty (Jay) of Monongahela, Marilou K. Scerrato (Robert) and Norma Jean (Brad Burd) of Elizabeth Township. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
