With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alice Pitera of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Alice left this world on October 19, 2024 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Malhenzie and Rose Fedorchak Malhenzie; her son Robert W.; and her brothers, Walter and Theodore "Ted" Malhenzie.
She is survived by: her son Walter (Janice) of Binghamton, NY; her grandchildren, Kelly of Oslo, Norway and Jack (Jenna) of Albany, NY; her great grandchildren, Sean and Theodore "Teddy"; her sister-in-law Vivian Malhenzie of Mechanicsburg, PA; her nieces, Debra and Denise; and her nephew Mark.
Viewing was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hudak-O'shea Funeral Home (115 N Garfield Ave, Olyphant, PA 18447). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cyril & Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church (135 N River St, Olyphant, PA 18447). A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Cyril & Methodius Cemetery.
