He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Hillyard and Vivian Mueller Hillyard; his brother Gary Hillyard; his brother-in-law Gary Southard; and his sister Cynthia Hillyard.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Hillyard of Bradford, Matthew Hillyard of St. Marys, Aaron Hillyard (Sonja) of Bradford and Barbara Bernecky (Jamey); his grandchildren, Jaryd, Tylin Hillyard, Dylan, Lucas Hillyard, Tiah, Trinity, Jayden, Jaron and Tegan Bernecky; and his sisters, Bonnie Jacoby (Tom) of Duke Center and Sharon Southard of Prentisvale. He is also survived by six nieces and one nephew.
