She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clifford Blakeslee and Dorothy Taft Blakeslee; her husband James McGonnell; her daughter Bridget Retchless (Michael) of Olean, NY; her stepsons, James McGonnell II of Alden, NY. and Kurtis McGonnell of Salamanca, NY; her sisters, Patricia Smith (Phil) of Olean, NY. and Sherry Connor (Bill) of Olean, NY; her grandchildren, Sarah Gerhard (Steve) and Justin Retchless (Hannah Wilber); her stepgrandchildren, Marissa McGonnell, Grayson McGonnell and Kullan McGonnell; her great grandchild Colt John Gerhard; and her siblings, Amos Blakeslee and Beverly Talbott Smith.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to The Seeing Eye Charity for the Blind.
