She was predeceased by: her parents, George Nicklaus and Emma Nicklaus; her husband Roland S. Kio; and her sisters, Aurelia Reese, Hilda Buckowski, Edna Minister, Theresa Scalfaro, Helen Pransky and Ruth Roboski.
She is survived by: her children, George Kio (Barbara) of McKinney, Kenneth Kio (Judy) of Eldred, Bradley Kio (Ginger) of Kenly, N. C. and Gail Kio (Jerry Kelley) of Bradford; her grandchildren, Steve Kio, Brenda Kio, Rachel Baker, Andrea Skaggs, Ashley Gore, Emily Kio and Michael Kio; her sisters, Mary Marinik and Patty Baker (Richard); and her brother-in-law Philip Kio (Leah) of Port Allegany. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
