He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest R. Hand and Eleanor Parker Hand; his wife Sandra Gummo; his daughter Alicia Treat; and his siblings, Ernest Hand and Julia Hand.
He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Hand (Kimberly) of Bradford, Matthew Hand (Angie) of Friendship, NY., Zachery Hand (Amanda) of Scio, N. Y. and Timothy Hand of Port Allegany; and his sister Patricia Nichols of Union City. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Eldred Area Little League.
