He was predeceased by: his mother Alice Mackes (Weiss); his brothers, Ronald and Eugene; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Mackes and James Bradley.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Marie Mackes (Keller); his children, Andrea Lazicki (Steven) of Mineral and Greg (Shannon) of Kresgeville; his grandchildren, Megan Hiester (Christopher), Kelsey Gleason (Brendan), Livia and Logan Mackes; his great grandchildren, Jackson and Madelyn-Anne Hiester; his sister Marilyn Bradley; and his sister-in-law Patricia Mackes. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
