He is survived by: his mother Carol Bowers; his wife Janice Johnson; his sons, Adam and Austin Bowers; his stepsons, Alan, Corey and Shawn Johnson; his siblings, John Bowers (Cindy), Ashley Jenkins (Loren) and Sherri Scalise (Roger); his brother-in-law Joe (Sharon Schwab); his stepgrandchildren, Maci, Lainey, McKenna, Myah, Addy and Saxton Johnson; and his sister-in-law Melanie Bowers.
