He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Leroy, Sr. and Dorothy Louise George (Reefer); his daughter Christine George; and his stepson Tim Hoffman. He is survived by: his sons, Walter C. George, Jr. and John George; his stepdaughters, Amanda Hoffman and Jennifer Hoffman; his siblings, Raymond Leroy George, Jr., Jeffrey Allen George, Lori Ann Drylie (Jim), Crystal Lynn George, Susan Jayne Stalnecker (Martin) and Esther Porter; and his grandchildren, Joseph, Timberly, Jocelyn George, Laelah, Wyatt George, Josh, Colton Magee, Kaitlyn Walkowiak, Jason, Brittany, Curtis Arner and Madison Shedlock.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Clark Chapel of the Bauer Funeral Home, Inc. (238 S Main St, Elderton, PA 16023). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
