It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred B. Smeltzer (Elderton, Pennsylvania), born in Homer, Indiana, who passed away on September 2, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Shank and Bessie Shank (Stout); her husband Kenneth B. Smeltzer; and her siblings, Helen George, Betty Miller and William Shank.

She is survived by: her daughters, Martha Dyott (David) of Indiana, PA and Doris Uplinger of Kittanning; her grandchildren, Brian Dyott, Ken Uplinger and Deborah Huey (Greg); and her great grandchild Adam Dyott.
