Kenneth E. Schaeffer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth E. Schaeffer of Elderton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 24, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry L. Schaeffer and Elsie I. Schaeffer (Riggle); his granddaughter Jenilee Fawn Johnson; his brother Harry "June" Schaeffer; and his sons-in-law, Gary S. Mummert and Thomas F. Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Vivian L. Schaeffer (Rearick); his children, Kenneth Lynn Schaeffer (Bonnie) of Indiana, Kimberly A. Johnson (Todd Doty) of Irwin and Candace K. Mummert (David Plavi) of Shelocta; his grandchildren, Corey Schaeffer (Ashley), Gary Scott Mummert, Jr. (Gretchen), Jessica Blystone (Nathan) and Kent E. Mummert; his great grandchild Holden Douglas Scott Mummert; his sister Joan Townsend; and his brother-in-law Denny Rearick (Bonnie) of Dutch Run.
Funeral services will be private. Due to current regulations, all social distancing guidelines will be followed. Guests are respectfully asked to wear a mask or face covering.
