He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry J. and Margaret R. Johns (Smith); his daughter Nancy Zelenski; and his siblings, Earl Johns, Arthur Johns, Bernard Johns, Lisle Johns, Vera Cessna and Wilda Cooper.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys R. Johns; his son Terry Johns (Blythe) of Ebensburg; his grandchildren, Kirsten Stiffler (John), Nathan Johns (Jennifer), Dan F. Zelenski (Christie) and Senta Zelenski; and his great grandchildren, Ayden Stiffler, Travis Johns, Landon Zelenski, Gabriella Stiffler, Emily Johns, Aybrah Zelenski and Alayna Zelenski.
