He was predeceased by: his parents, Rupert D. "Si" and Bessie Mae Howard (Berisford); and his brothers, Rupert "Gene" Howard, Harold "Wayne" Howard and Robert Dale Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Doris J. Howard (McCausland); his children, Gerry L. Howard (Donna) of Shelocta and Pamela R. Flickinger (Michael) of Spring Church; his grandchildren, Jason Flickinger (Melissa), Kurt Flickinger (Gwendolyn), Eric Howard (Tasneem), Rodney Howard and Jodi Flickinger; and his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Owen, Nevel, Dean, Solei and Adam.
