He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Gauden and David Pierce Senior; and his siblings, Gloria Williams, John Tharp and Laura Tietel.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Place; his children, Jesse Pierce (Sarah) and Kristine Pierce; his granddaughter Everly Jo Reign Pierce; and his sister Dorothy Ellis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
