He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles J. Gismondi and Dorothy "Dorna" Gismondi (Ciarrocchi); and his brother Raymond Gismondi. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gismondi; his children, Jennifer Rae Gismondi of Belle Vernon, PA, Maria Gismondi (Chet Unger) of Upper St and Tony Gismondi of Finleyville; and his grandsons, Miles and Axel Unger.

In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the Charles A. Gismondi Baseball Scholarship, 250 University Avenue, California, PA 15419.
