She is survived by: her husband Jay Schmalzried; her children, Joey Bowers (Dana Tohey), Nicole Bowers-Carter (Bryan) and Bailey Schmalzried; her grandchildren, Chloe Carter, Brynn Carter and Joey Bowers; and her siblings, Becky Williams (Bill), David Spencer (Kathy) and Scott Spencer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
