He was predeceased by: his parents, George F. Hoelke and Geraldine Schmidt Hoelke. He is survived by: his wife Jaye Ann Lazor Hoelke; his son Richard G. Hoelke Jr. (Toni) of New Port Richey, FL; his grandchildren, Austin Hoelke and Haley Elliott; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Lazor (Anita) of Newtown, Andrew Lazor (Mary Grace) of Pittsburgh and Roberta Gillispie (David) of Munhall. He is also survived by many niece, nephews, grand nieces and nephews; and his dog.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home LTD. (27 Cherry Ave, Houston, PA 15342). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Of St. Oscar Romero Parish (317 W Pike St, Canonsburg, PA 15317).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Syria Shrine, 1877 Shriners Way, Cheswick, PA 15024.
