He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McDaid and Grace Meneely McDaid; and his wife Dorothy Jane "Dot" Woodruff. He is survived by: his children, Glenn E. McDaid Jr. (Rebecca) of Eighty Four, Debbie Gamble (Robert) of Eighty Four and Lisa McDaid of Eighty Four; his granddaughters, Victoria Schury (Charles), Beverly Brennan (Kevin) and Celina Johnson (Sawyer); and his great grandchildren, Samantha, Bo, Miranda Schury, Katie, Sean, Shivonne Brennan and Jase Johnson. He is also survived by brother; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd. (27 Cherry Ave, Houston, PA 15342). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
