She was predeceased by: her son Sherman IV. She is survived by: her husband Sherman Ackerman III; her daughters, Sherry Ingram (Dan), Nancy Flemming (Wheeler) and Cynthia Petro; her grandchildren, Jennifer Ingram, Jessica Prosperi, Emily Horn, Carla Sullivan, Wheeler Flemming Jr., Kate Mayowski, Daniel Sherman Ackerman, Matthew Petro and Kelly Neely; and her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Amelia Prosperi, Ella Jean Horn, Redmond, Adeline, George, Spike Sullivan, Parker, Mary Wallace, Collier Petro, Hayes, Olivia Neely and Enola Mayowski.
