Lara M. Shiffer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lara M. Shiffer of Effort, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 8, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel J. Zilko and Christine Zilko (Belis); her husband Leon Shiffer; her daughters, Donna C. Cardwell and Tracy E. Harrison; and her siblings, Helen Uffalussy, Richard Walters and Daniel Zilko.
She is survived by: her close friend Alex Costa of Kunkletown, PA; her children, Kathleen Cancelliere of Island Park, NY and Jonathan Franks of Austin, TX.; her grandchildren, Brandi L. Harrison of Warren, OH, Kelsey R. Cancelliere of Island Park, NY and Daniel N. Cancelliere of Valley Stream, NY; her great grandchildren, Jayce Harrison, Miguel Gordon and TaTiana Harrison; and her sisters, Geraldine Kozura, Susan A. Bruchek (Terry) and Anita Zelechiwsky. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
