He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Farmer and Edith Farmer (Bordsen); and his stepson Brent. He is survived by: his wife Melissa C. Farmer (Caffrey) of Effort, PA; his children, John C. Farmer Jr. (Samantha) of Effort, PA and Dana Somerville of Boca Raton, FL; his stepchildren, Katelynn Capron of Saylorsburg, PA and Ryan Capron (Kat) of Bethlehem, PA.; his brothers, Thomas Farmer of Stroudsburg, PA, James Farmer, Tony Castellaneta (Liz) of Effort, PA and Joey Castellaneta (Kathy) of Effort, PA; and his parents-in-law, MaryJane and Robert Caffrey of Effort, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
