She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Harvey Hawk and Nettie Hawk (Switzgable); her husband William L. Altemose; her sons, Terry Altemose, Ricky Altemose and Bruce Altemose; and her sister Claire Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Dean Altemose (Michelle) of Effort, Wayne Altemose (Theresa) of Effort and Danny Altemose (Cindy) of Sale Creek, TN; and her daughter-in-law Mary Altemose of Windsor, SC.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
