We are sad to announce that on October 11, 2020, at the age of 81, Harold J. Nelson Jr. of Effort, Pennsylvania, born in Worcester, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold J. Nelson Sr. and Beatrice Grace Nelson (Wayman); and his daughter Donna Marie Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Lydia Nelson (Sundstrom) of Effort; his children, Kristine O'Brien (Scott) of Kingwood, NJ, Chip Nelson (Cheryl) of Long Valley, NJ and Erik Nelson (Lauren) of Effort, PA.; his grandchildren, Jessica O'Brien, Amanda O'Brien, Tyler Nelson, Abigail Nelson, Kylie Nelson, Shawn O'Brien and Cassidy Nelson; and his sisters, Alfreda Marek of Sciota, NY and Suzanne DiBartolomeo (Richard) of Schenectady, NY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
