It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor L. Gower of Effort, Pennsylvania, born in Long Pond, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 7, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert F. Gower; her parents, Arlington Moyer Sr. and Hazel Moyer (Bellas); her son Herbert F. Gower Jr.; and her siblings, Marion M. Hoffner, Nelson C. Moyer, Arlington B. Moyer, Roy A. Moyer and Larry L. Moyer.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Knappenberger (Jay) of Albrightsville, Donald N. Gower of Gilbert and Curt D. Gower (Nannette) of Effort; her grandchildren, Robert Kanppenberger, Eric Knappenberger, Erica S. Gower, Dillon Gower, Rachel Gower, Danielle Adamski, Nicholas Gower and Phillip Gower; and her sister Jean Green of Freeland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
