It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Flaherty of Effort, Pennsylvania, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 12, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Frank J. Flaherty; her parents, James Dolanski and Mary Dolanski (Paterka); and her children, James Flaherty of Scranton, Martin Flaherty of Reeders, Frank Flaherty of Effort and Kathy Carney of Reeders. She was also cherished by six grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
