It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Braulio Velez of Effort, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 5, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Felipe Velez and Juana Velez (Soto). He is survived by: his wife Rafaela Velez (Rodriguez Camacho) of Effort, PA; his children, Milta Rodriguez (Michael) of Spring Hills, FL, Marisol Phillips (Carlos) of Effort, PA, Madeline Phillips (Benjamin) of Garrison, NY, Elizabeth Cruz (Wilfredo) of Kunkletown, PA and Jimmy Velez of Astoria, NY.; and his grandchildren, Yolanda Nieves (Daniel), Saul Vasquez (Bertha), Benjamin Phillips Jr. (Sophie), Alex Molina (Kathy), Carlos Phillips III, Jasmin Stelluti (Michael), Elisa Phillips, Marissa Phillips, Jennifer Cordero, Wilfredo Cruz Jr. (Cindy), Kevin Cruz, Jonathen Rodriguez, Gianna Velez, Gizelle Velez and Jessica Viola (Adam). He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
