He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Conklin and Mary Conklin (Heiney) of Saylorsburg; and his siblings, Matthew Conklin, Jr. of Saylorsburg, Mary Evans of Slatedale, Gladys Padgett of Pen Argyl, Florence Frantz of Brodheadsville, David Conklin of Brodheadsville and Donald Conklin of Brodheadsville.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Gould (Gould); his children, Marie Young (Alan) of Berwyn, Charlene Taylor (Jim) of Effort, Susan Yetter (Glenn) of Saylorsburg, Denise Murphy (Al) of Allentown, Jane Dolan (Don) of Daphne, AL, Charles II (Marilou) of Effort and Tom (Karen) of Effort; his grandchildren, Megan Young, Joseph Young, Jackie Taylor, Phillip Yetter, Anndrea Yetter, Jill Yetter, Alex Murphy, Jessica Dolan Morisani, Drew Dolan, Chad Dolan, Luke Dolan, Kate Conklin, C. Allen Conklin III, Patrick Conklin, Ben Conklin and Nate Conklin; and his sister Hazel Donchez of Pen Argyl.
