She was predeceased by: her parents, August Bayer and Mary Perschau Bayer; her husband William C. Gries; and her siblings, Ruth Albrecht, Dorothy Appel, Walter Bayer and Robert Bayer.
She is survived by: her children, William C. Gries, Jr. (Cindy) of Houston, TX and Corinne Petyo (Edmund); and her grandchildren, Alix Burger (Alex), Kacie Gries (Gered), Danni Beinschroth (Mason) and Ethan Petyo. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
