He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wassil and Mary Funkett Wassil; his wife Joan Ford Wassil; his daughter Joan Marie Wassil; and his sisters, Irene Latsko, Marie Davis and Theresa Hatalski.
He is survived by: his daughter Carol (Gary); his grandsons, David Koval (Lori) and Steven Koval; his brother John Wassil; his siblings-in-law, Gail Downes, Dorothy Ford and Ray Ford; and his son-in-law Rick Koval (Wendy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
